Lynique Oveson

Co-Founder

Lynique has taught in the classroom, virtually and in the outdoor education for the past 20 years -- both stateside and abroad! Lynique is an outdoor enthusiast and has a passion for both hard work and helping students find their own passions. Lynique has a BA in Biology, with further education in Environmental Science, Education, Athletic Training & Physical Therapy. She holds an MA in Education, and is certified in Science, Health, P.E., and Career & Technical Education.

Jacqueline Lovell

Co-Founder

Jackie is passionate about giving all learners a chance at success by focusing on out of the box methods not utilized in traditional schools. She has been a preschool teacher for 13 years and is the proud owner of Little Bird House Preschool. She is passionate about her community and runs a tasty canned food business in addition to her passion for working with kids and spending time in the great outdoors.

Mysha Oveson

Art Consultant & Project Expeditor

Mysha is a student of life. She graduated from Whitman College with a BA in Studio Art. She is a professional artist, specializing in graphic design, painting and cinematography. As a military spouse, Mysha has a unique prospective of what it means to be flexible and understand some people need extra support, whatever their journey. Coming from a long line of teachers, Mysha has found ways to enrich her community through art and craft classes.

Morgan is a licensed teacher who has a passion for both trauma-informed education and making the content come alive! She holds a BA and MA in History and a BA in Education, has studied restorative justice practices and is certified in both AVID and Mental Health First Aid. She has spoken at conferences on education at the College of Charleston and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Her career has spanned working in alternative, traditional and online schools, as well as contracting with the U.S. military to work in childcare centers abroad and volunteering as a mentor with local juvenile departments. When she’s not teaching you can find her traveling, testing new recipes, reading or volunteering as an advisory board member for her national sorority, Kappa Delta.
